The overall question that I hope to resolve, as I have mentioned in my last two posts, is; is a woman’s appearance an interpretation of her intellectual stance in society or is her appearance merely the clothing she wears?
The underlying questions that I still have, in order to answer the question above are:
What is the politcial mark have women had throughout the last one hundred years on soicety?
Have women always had the freedom to creatively express themselves in the ways they are now?
What are some of the major bounderies that women have broken in the last one hundred years?
Has women's clothing ever been based on what the women felt suited her best or has it always been what society felt a woman should be?
Can a women be seen as a incon of style and class and style be praised for her brillaint mind in what ever feild that may be?
What impact did the Great Depression have on women and the way they were precieved in society, if any at all?

Being a girl myself of course, I love this topic. The reason is because not only are you talking about clothes, but you are also talking about our rights and why we were essential to society. Some people are still sexist and it bothers me when I am put down. even after this assignment maybe you can continue your research and enlighten us:)
